I got this little gem for about $ 425 I compared it with the more expensive Sony HD camcorder with built-in hard drive, but eventually decided to go with MS / video DVD, so I can catalog my movies, so that all my stuff on a hard drive (in case of loss or camcorder hard drive), and should not have to use a PC as an intermediary device.

I really like this camera's video image quality on the video is high quality image of the camera is good. very compact and u can take anywhere. It takes a while 'to see how it works with and without hard disk, I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality video cam.

The Sony DVD403 Handycam takes great pictures and is easy to use, but be careful! The software provided with it messes up your computer BIG TIME! We must restore our computer software and to leave out. They told me that "Sony is aware of this problem and work on it, but I am very disappointed not to have notified me of the problem. They could have easily made the camera since I registered with them. If you experience any problems with your computer not to close and / or "blue screen" and you have installed the software for this camera - that is your problem.
